Day Four: South Street Seaport

I didn't do much during the day. I had my writing workshop class and then economics. I did sign up to go watch a movie later in the evening. Wreck-It Ralph. We took the subway there and it was my first time.
It was kind of different than what I was expecting. It's very humid and hot down there. Also when you're on it, you have to hold on because you can fall if you're not ready when it takes off. It's also very crowded. Anyways, we got there and we were able to get something from the food trucks and I got a strawberry banana frozen slush. It was good. After we got our drinks, our P.A.s (Program Assistants they're really just other college students who are helping with this program) led us down to the pier because they had thought it was there. It wasn't but the view was amazing. You could see the Brooklyn bridge and openness.
Also you could see Brooklyn from there.
We went on to find the movie and it was by the food trucks. It was called Fulton Market.
It was pretty cool. The night ended up being good on weather. Didn't really get to see it because it was crowded but I was able to talk to these two people, Poppy and Tony.
Poppy is from London and Tony is Venezuela. They are very interesting people. It's crazy how different each country is from ours. Also our P.A.s had some pretty cool stories as well. Anyways the night went on and after the movies our P.A.s took us to a candy store and we got to fill a box with candy. We went home after that.
So the day went well. Thank God.
