Day Two: First Day of Class

So Monday went well. Thank God. I got breakfast and then went to my first class at 9! It was my College Writing Workshop class which was pretty neat. Read and annotated an essay and was given a glimpse of how the class will be throughout the weeks. Afterwards, I walked around with one of my classmates for a little and then headed to Washington Square Park to sit down and type. I then headed to go get my NYU ID Card.
They spelled my middle name wrong unfortunately. It was a typo i think but it's fine. After getting my ID, I went back to my dorm to take a break and then went to lunch at my hall! It was pretty good. I had pasta and pizza. Then I went to Macroeconomics class. It was pretty interesting. He got right into it. After class was over I decided to walk to Times Square. On the way there I saw the Empire State Building and it was really tall.
The walk there felt long. It was 2.3 miles away and the same coming back. I didn't go inside any of the stores yet. I just wanted to see it and later I'll go back to visit.
On the way back from Times Square I got see the Forbes Magazine building and it was pretty cool.
After I got back, I went to my dorm to rest. My feet were hurting. I then went downstairs to go eat dinner. Afterwards I decided to go to Washington Square Park to relax. Something really cool is that there are a lot of fireflies.
I don't know if you can see them but they're the little yellow dots in this picture.
We used to have them in Texas but I never see many anymore. Here you just see flashing little yellow lights everywhere in the park. It's a pretty nice view.

So anyways the day went well. Thank God! I'll post another later today so I don't get behind to bad with this. Thank you for reading!
